

Kevin O’Hagan, mentor to the Bristol School of Self Defence, is one of the world’s leading and most respected martial arts and self protection instructors. He has trained over the last 30 years with a virtual "who's who" of Martial Arts Masters including: Geoff Thompson, Peter Consterdine, Neil Adams, Dave Turton, Rick Young, Jamie O' Keefe, Renzo Gracie, John Machado, Dan 'The Beast' Severn, Eyal Yanilov, the late Gary Spiers, members of the Israeli Anti-Terrorist Squad, SBS and the Special Forces, as well as many top Japanese Instructors. Kevin has always had an open mind to martial arts and has cross trained in Western Boxing, Jujutsu, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Brazilian Jujutsu, Japanese Submission Fighting and Kempo.
In recent times Kevin has held seminars in Conflict Management and Personal Security
for businesses. He has also taught Close Protection, Control & Restraint, and Weapon
Tactics to professional body guards and security personnel.
Kevin has produced his own unique set of training videos and has written 5 books to date on Martial Arts. He has appeared on radio and TV promoting his art and as a Self Defence Specialist and he has written for fighters magazine regularly for 8 years. His TV credits include "Muscle" a documentary following a team of Bristol Door Security shown on BBC1 and most recently he appeared on a Sky 1 TV show "Britain’s Hardest".
